A practical path from the multiplayer menu to a protected base. You can explore at your own pace; this is a useful starting sequence, not a mandatory speedrun.
THE STARTER ROUTE
First steps
in Survival.
These steps work for both Java and compatible Bedrock players.
Open the Navigator
Your Navigator compass links to core features. Explore /help for commands and /firststeps for your starter guide. Survival uses vanilla Hard difficulty, so gather tools and food before travelling far.

Find somewhere to settle
Use /rtp to explore outside spawn. Look for an area with access to useful materials, room to expand and a location you want to return to. Don't build inside someone else's protected land.

Claim your first base
Use the golden shovel to choose claim corners, then /claim to manage the land. Claim blocks accrue through gameplay at a base rate of 30 per hour. Your first claim can create Home automatically when you have no home set.
Make your home reachable
Wanderer can set one named home inside land they own or have BUILD trust in. Use /sethome there and /home to return. Additional homes unlock as you climb the rank ladder.

View your milestones
Work through your starting objectives by doing ordinary survival activities. The starter path includes sleeping, finding a diamond, visiting the Nether and eventually banking a diamond. Your current requirements are always visible in-game.
Keep your tamed pets safe
Use any ordinary nametag on your own tamed wolf, cat, parrot, horse or other tameable animal. Enter a name in the sign UI and that pet becomes protected from ordinary Survival damage. Existing pets need a newly applied nametag to receive protection.
Only the owner can remove it using /pet release and /pet release confirm. This does not kill the animal.

WHEN YOU'RE READY
Deposit diamonds and trade.
Diamonds are Redgully's base economy currency. Deposit a physical diamond with /deposit when you're ready, browse player orders with /ah, and check your rank or milestone requirements with /ranks and /milestones.
