Looking for an Australian Minecraft server with Java and Bedrock cross-play, meaningful progression and protected Survival builds? These are the essentials.
What is the Redgully Minecraft server address?
Java Edition: redgully.com (default Java server port). Supported Bedrock clients: redgully.com with UDP port 19132. Both editions join the same network and Survival world. See the joining walkthrough.
Is Redgully an Australian Minecraft Survival server?
Yes. Redgully is hosted in Australia and centres on Vanilla Hard Minecraft Survival with claims, eight gameplay-earned ranks and player trading. Overseas players can join, but latency depends on their route to Australia.
Can Java and Bedrock Minecraft players play together?
Yes, using supported clients. Some consoles do not offer a built-in Add Server option; the Bedrock guide explains the port and device limitations.
Do I have to buy a rank or land protection?
No. All eight Survival ranks are earned through playtime, milestones and advancements. Claim blocks accrue through playing, voting and certain progression rewards. See the land-claiming guide.
Can my tamed wolf or cat die?
Use an ordinary nametag on your own tamed companion to name and protect it from ordinary Survival damage. This also works for parrots, horses and other tameable animals. Only the owner can remove protection with /pet release. Pet protection details.
Does Redgully need a modpack?
No dedicated client modpack is required. The extra Survival features run on the server. Redgully is Vanilla+ rather than a fully unmodified vanilla server.
Is Redgully suitable for long-term building?
The server is designed for long-term Survival builds, with claim protection, homes, projects and progress records. Normal backups, maintenance and unexpected issues can still occur; the site does not promise that resets can never happen. Read the candid player-fit guide.
